Naturally as a makeup artist my clients were curious to discuss my tricks and more times than not, skin care. This became very clear to me that in addition to being a makeup artist—I should pursue my Esthetician licenses.
After obtaining my Esthetician license, I was hired, as 1 of 4 Esthetician’s to give premiere custom facials, at Gina Mari SkinCare; where she trained me to be able to work on all types of skin. No one client has the same skin care goals. I came to realize that in order to obtain “good skin” to apply makeup on ones face you have to get everything out from under the skin. Then you can work on the outside to improve and maintain the appearance, discoloration, texture, scarring, etc. of the skin. The goal is to keep up on the maintenance and wear less daily makeup, so when you are ready to get all dolled up for your special event or just because you have a smooth perfect pallet to work with.
As an active person that loves the outdoors, I started getting a lot of hyper pigmentation, fine line, wrinkles, and leathery skin. It was very concerning, so I've discovered many miracle treatments and skin care products that I have used on myself and clients. Not only do these treatments and products lighten our hyper pigmentation, age spots and reduces fine lines and wrinkles, but helps with the clarity, and texture of our skin, giving us an amazing glow thats last. And of course being more cautious in the by wearing hats and visions, good sunscreen and replying really helps all around.
